Click on start button and type “cmd.exe” in the search box.
Now type the following command in command prompt: “ping google.com -t” without quotes and there is a spacebar before the “-t” and press enter.
The “-t” is very important as it will repeat the ping command constantly.
The “Request timed out” phrase means that the internet server is down for the moment.
