After the launch of Android P Developer Preview by Google for Google Pixel users, many Android phone users want to experience this preview. While it is hard to get the core software features, it is quite easy for users to imitate the visual look of Android P using third-party apps and mods.
Xposed Framework is a renowned mod for rooted Android users. It can be used a medium to easily modify your phone by installing dedicated modules. XDA member “paphonb” has created the Android N-ify and Android O-ify Xposed modules to get the latest features from the corresponding Android versions.
The developer has recently updated his module series to support the latest version. It is meant for users who can’t get their hands on the developer preview or don’t want to install Android P, but still, want to enjoy the features. So, in this article, I am going to provide you the step by step instruction for downloading and installing the Android P-ify Xposed Module.

The module (0.2.0 beta 40) brings some major UI features to devices running Oreo, listed below.
- Added circle qs tile background
- Added alarm tile to replace clock click action
- Added vertical qs (still buggy)
- Added Google Sans to some part of the UI
- Move battery percentage to the right
- Fixed crashes with many ROMs
- Fixed settings suggestion icon
- Fixed text in settings search bar when using the dark theme
- Use SystemUI theme color for qs background
For successfully installing this preview on your Android device, you have to follow the steps below and install Android P-ify Xposed Module on your Oreo device.
Steps to Install Android P-ify Xposed Module on Oreo
Step 1: First, you have to download the Android P-ify Xposed module APK. Click Here to Download.
Step 2: Now, open the file manager on your Android Phone.
Step 3: Navigate to the storage and install the APK manually.
Step 4: Now, you have to launch the ‘Xposed Installer’ from the app drawer.
Step 5: Tap on the Menu Icon i.e. 3 horizontal lines from the top left corner of the screen.
Step 6: Select Modules from that menu and Turn ON the module by pressing the checkbox. See the image below for reference.
Step 7: Finally, reboot your device to save the changes.
After the reboot, you the new changes shall be visible, just try going to device settings or pull down the Quick Settings toggles. You may further open the module settings to force the dark theme or toggle individual features.
