Godaddy is one of the biggest domain registrars and their services are priced quite reasonable and very much affordable as compared to other Hosting Companies. The Godaddy VPS is a Virtual Private Server offered by Godaddy in various device configurations.
If you have bought a Godaddy VPS server or simply own a VPS Server and you forgot your Username and Password. You can simply Login to your Godaddy Account and ask for the password reset feature and they will sent you on email. So, where is the problem and why we are writing this post ? You will think we are crazy.
No, we are not.
The Godaddy VPS Login system is designed in a way that you don’t have to enter your VPS Server details like your username and password once you logged in to your Godaddy Account.
Therefore, it was hard to remember the details when you are not entering your VPS Login Details but using your Godaddy server very frequently.
Suppose you are already Logged in to your VPS Server and now you don’t remember your Godaddy VPS Login Details, you can simply go on to the Server HomePage, where you have deployed your Linux version as shown in the screenshot below :-
- Click on the Access button as Shown in the Screenshot below :
2. Now you will see a pop-up will open called as Server Access. You can quickly change your Godaddy VPS Server Credentials for the root user and your secondary user and password.
3. Isn’t that simple ?
I found it extremely useful and simple tip, because i was not using my login username and password and i was all the time opening my server via my godaddy account.
But, one day, i need to connect to my Server via SSH to transfer GB’s of data from one server to another. And , then it becomes very handy and you can easily restore your Godaddy VPS Login Credentials.
