Before installing the OmniROM on OnePlus 5T, make sure to fulfill all the requirements listed below.
- You have to Unlock the Bootloader on your OnePlus 5T.
- Make your phone charged at least 70% to avoid any trouble at the time of rooting.
- Install the TWRP on OnePlus 5T.

Steps to Install OmniROM on OnePlus 5T – Android Oreo 8.1
Step 1: First, you have to download the above files from the link provided above.
Step 2: Now, you have to connect your device to PC.
Step 3: After connecting the phone, now transfer ROM and GApps zip files to the internal storage.
Step 4: Now, switch off your device and boot into TWRP recovery mode. For this, press and hold the Volume Up and Power button simultaneously.
Step 5: After you entered into TWRP mode, go to “Wipe” -> “Advanced Wipe” and select the checkboxes named as Dalvik/ART cache, System, Data, and Cache.
Step 6: Now, Swipe the button to wipe the device.
Step 7: Go back to the recovery main screen and tap on the “Install” button.
Step 8: Now, you have to navigate to the file which was transferred earlier from the PC to SD Card named as “Omni-8.1.0-20171217-oneplus5t-HOMEMADE.zip“.
Step 9: Once the file is selected, tap on the ‘Add more Zips’ button and select the GApps zip.
Step 10: Finally, swipe the button on the screen to install OmniROM on OnePlus 5T.
Once the flashing process is complete, now you have to reboot your device. Your device will reboot into Android Oreo-based OmniROM.
