While rooting an Android Smartphone, there are high chances of getting bricked if any of the steps go wrong. Rooting your android phone requires proper guideline and all the accurate software for the particular model which you are trying to root. So, in this article, I am going to give you the proper guidelines for Unbricking your Huawei Honor 7x phone to Stock Android.
Basically, Bricking is of two types. First one is Soft Bricking where the phone boots but not completely. It just stays hanging on the welcome screen. And, the second one is Hard Bricking in which your device will be dead. There are many reasons which result in bricking of the phone like rooting the device, corrupt bootloader, flashing a corrupt custom ROM etc.
Now, let’s start with the Unbricking process for your Huawei Honor 7X.
How to Unbrick Huawei Honor 7X Back to Stock Firmware
For the successful unbricking of Honor 7X back to Stock Firmware, you have to download some software to flash the stock OS and TWRP image. For downloading this software, go through these links:

The three softwares which are mentioned above are important and for unbricking the Honor 7X you have to download these. So now, before starting the steps, there are some important things which you have to look.
Important Ponts to Remember:
- Before starting the process, take the full backup of your phone.
- The firmware listed above is only for Huawei Honor 7x (BND-AL10). Don’t flash it on any other Huawei device.
- Charge your phone battery to full for avoiding any interruption due to the power outage.

Steps to Unbrick Honor 7X
Step 1: First, download, extract and install the Huawei Multi-tool V8 software.
Step 2: Switch off your device and hold the Volume Down key to reboot your Honor 7X in fastboot mode.
Step 3: Now, connect your phone to PC via USB.
Step 4: After connecting your phone to PC, now open the Huawei Multi-tool V8 software and go to Recovery tab > Click on Select Image button.
Step 5: Now, select the downloaded TWRP image file and click on Flash Recovery.
Step 6: Once the flashing is over, you have to now disconnect your device and turn it off.
Step 7: Now, you have to extract the Honor 7x (BND-AL10) Stock Firmware file which is named as update.zip.
Step 8: Now again open the Huawei Multi-tool software and click on the Unbrick tab and then on Launch Huawei Update Extractor. Now, click on the dot button beside Update File option and select UPDATE.APP file from the extracted folder.
Step 9: After completing the above step, now Right-Click on the empty space and choose the option Extract all to extract updateappone folder.
Step 10: Now, form the extracted folder, copy the file Vendor.img to the external storage of your phone.
Step 11: Now press the Power+Vol Up button together to reboot your device into recovery mode.
Step 12: In the recovery mode, navigate to Wipe and then to Advanced Wipe option and select all the available partitions. After this Swipe at the bottom to wipe it all.
Step 13: Again go to the Recovery Mode main menu and from there select Install option and then Install IMG. Then navigate to the Vendor.img file in the external storage and flash it.
Step 14: Once the flashing is completed, switch off your device and connect it to the PC in fastboot mode.
Step 15: Now, extract the Zip file named as update_full_BND-device-model_hw_your-region. Once the extraction process is completed, find the UPDATE.APP file and extract it also.
Step 16: In the extracted UPDATE.APP folder, you will find cust.img. In case if you don’t find this file, look for the version.img file and rename it to cust.img.
Step 17: Now, copy this cust.img file and paste it into the updateappone folder which you have extracted in Step 9. After this, again go to the Huawei Multi-tool software > click Unbrick tab > click on Specify folder. Then select the updateappone folder.
Step 18: Now, click on the Unbrick Button and wait for the process to complete and reboot the device to finish the process.
